East Coast Soccer School is passionate about dedicating its resources and tailoring dedicated football programs to Women’s Soccer. ECSS aims to develop female leaders in the game and increase opportunities for development and success for girls of all ages.

To shape, grow and oversee the ECSS Women’s Program, ECSS has recruited Women’s Football powerhouse, Cas Wright!








Wright, a role model for women in football, has proven time and again the importance of having female leaders in coaching at high levels. Wright has been a pioneer in women’s coaching, with her steely determination providing her an impressive list of firsts along the way. Wright became the first female Technical Director of a Northern NSW Premier Club when she took over at New Lambton FC in October 2019. Wright became the first female coach of a male NPL NNSW team when she took charge of the Eagles’ men’s reserve grade side in the Hit Northern League One competition in 2021. She has also undertaken commentary work for Bar TV on Northern NSW Football’s Herald Women’s Premier League and Football NSW’s WNPL competitions. Most recently, Wright is embarking on her roles in the A-Leagues with the Newcastle Jets, coaching the Academy Youth Girls and playing an assistant role in the A-Leagues team. Doing all of this alongside embarking on her Football Australia A-License to continue developing her coaching career.
